Pennsylvania requires that certain abortion records be kept, and they reveal an alarming trend of chemical abortion pills harming large numbers of women while ending the lives of their unborn children. During a five year period, abortions increased by nine percent, but during that same time, complications nearly doubled. Complications increased 48% and most are related to the chemical abortion pill, which studies show is four-times more dangerous than surgical abortion. The pills’ most common complication is an incomplete abortion, that is, leaving parts of the baby behind. When Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania was asked to respond to these alarming statistics, they refused. No surprise there, but Americans are in for a rude awakening as more women are harmed by chemical abortion.
